UC Set Screw Locking Insert Bearing is a widely used mounted bearing unit designed for reliable shaft positioning and stable operation in various industrial applications. The bearing features a set screw locking mechanism on the inner ring, allowing it to be securely fixed onto the shaft without additional adapters. With a compact structure, easy installation, and dependable performance, UC insert bearings are commonly used in agricultural machinery, conveyor systems, textile equipment, and other mechanical transmission systems.
The UC bearing adopts a double set screw locking system that firmly locks the inner ring to the shaft. This design ensures strong clamping force and prevents shaft slippage during operation. It is particularly suitable for applications with moderate load and normal rotational speeds, providing stable positioning and reducing the risk of misalignment.
The bearing rings and rolling elements are typically manufactured from high-grade chrome steel (GCr15), known for its excellent hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength. This material composition ensures long service life and reliable operation even under demanding working conditions.
UC series insert bearings are available in multiple shaft diameter sizes, typically ranging from 12 mm to 90 mm, allowing them to match different shaft requirements. Standardized dimensions make them compatible with a variety of pillow block housings and bearing units, enabling flexible installation across many mechanical systems.
UC insert bearings provide stable dynamic and static load capacity, ensuring reliable operation under continuous mechanical stress. The optimized internal structure helps distribute loads evenly across rolling elements, minimizing vibration and extending bearing life.
One of the main advantages of UC bearings is their simple installation process. The set screw locking system allows quick mounting directly onto the shaft using standard tools. In addition, the bearing is typically pre-lubricated and can be relubricated through a grease nipple when required, making maintenance straightforward and cost-effective.
